Journey

The azure blue sky,
The puffy white clouds,
The warm breeze,
~ Sheer tranquility.

Close your eyes,
Take a peek,
The game of life,
An arduous dive.

Criticism, mockery, scorn,
Greed, lust, anger, arrogance,
Jealousy, envy, malicious,
~ The Reprisal of mankind.

You ponder, you question.
Man’s insouciance.
You lament, you cry,
With absolutely no reply.

When worry and fear entraps you,
When competition bothers you,
When the devil tempts you,
You crumble and cry.

Open your eyes,
The azure blue sky.
Pristine white clouds,
Erase all your doubts.

Feel the breeze,
The swaying trees.
The warm sun rays,
The Lord makes your day.

Starlight fills the heaven,
Nature shines for thee.
Your power and glory,
Paints a new story.

Nature O divine,
God’s greatest creation,
For you and i.

Circumstances never last.
It will come to past.
Open and Close your eyes,
Your vision’s different dye.

David with Goliath’s head.
Daniel’s deliverance.
Tales of emancipation,
Stores of conquest.

God all decree,
Smoke from a chimney,
Faith the quality,
The Journey to eternity.

In this picture, a lamp symbolizes the all divine nature of God, looking down on all creation. The effect signifies how no matter what adversity, he will always be looking down on us, protecting us every minute of each day. The surroundings show elements of nature, trees and branches which extend throughout the entire picture which implies how nature is divine; a magnificent creation. The trees tower over all man, providing shade, warmth and comfort in times of difficulty. Nature is indeed a place in which man can go to, to seek solace and solitude.

I was particularly inspired by William Blake’s poem The Lamb. The poem revolves around the central theme of how life is a journey filled with numerous circumstances and obstacles. Some of which may plague you constantly, but turning to God, embracing faith and nature will allow one to see the dawn of eternal peace. Criticism and scornful remarks will never fail to bring an individual down, but focusing on divine elements will lead to emancipation.
