Rarely do you see
Man and Nature in harm'ny
The way it should be
Epilogue:
This picture shows a metal sculpture boy receives water from a man who is positioning at a higher ground. The water represents the Nature, the source of life, which supports life by providing man with the resources for survival. Being the source of power, Nature is superior and divine to man as possesses the power of God to give life. The action of receiving water to carry out daily work suggested the importance of nature and how human is dependent on nature for the development of an industrializing world. This reflects the Romantic period where industrial revolution took place, natural resources such as the tress and the rivers were used to allow these industrial movements to be carried out. The coexistence of human and nature is parallel to the today’s world where man makes an effort to integrate nature into part of urban landscape such as open-air garden in high buildings.
