The Road to Eternity
I walk the road to eternity
With nature guiding me
Almost without noticing
It’s all around me
The forest calls to me
The tress in their prayers
The birds sing their praises
The air smells good today
I walk the road to eternity
The picture shows us a never ending path, to me signifies eternity. It is journey we take not knowing where the end will be. My inspiration for this poem was found when we were walking through the pathways in Botanical Gardens and everything around was nature. It was as though we were so close to nature, it was an opportunity for us to enjoy the magnificence of nature. All around us was greenery, where tall trees reaching for the sky tower over us. And the smell of nurturing flowers and sweet nectar was just amazing. Nature has so much beauty, so much to teach us. Mother Nature accompanies us to as we walk the road to eternity.
