These are images of a man-made waterfall, placed among the jungle of plants to add a touch of “artificial” nature to the otherwise blend surroundings.
From the picture, even though the waterfall takes up a huge percentage of the picture, the brightness of the greens inevitably stands out as a whole. This untamed part of nature is probably the reason why it is ever dominant, even in the midst of a man-made dominant surrounding. Also visitors of the garden are seen posing to snap a picture of the gorgeous scenery. This however is most probably due to the attraction towards the beauty of the man-made waterfall, rather than the naturally grown surroundings.
This is pretty ironic and shows the distant relationship between man and nature itself. It actually takes an unnatural object or creation to bring man closer to nature itself. Even through this, man themselves might not necessarily be aware of it.
These are a few of the many images that fully portray the integration between nature and the urban society today. The integration of nature and the urban society today is the only way to bring man closer towards nature, bit by bit. But even then, the extent of realisation brought towards mankind is questionable.

Amazingly, this shot is composed of greens. An image dominated by nature. The large area of the lake as compared to the man-made statue further emphasises the natural dominance held by nature as compared to urban landscape. This image also shows the lack of man-made structures besides from the swan statue and the little bit of pavement. Overall, this image shows that nature is hard to contain and that man truly, has no power against it.
I feel that this image portrays the fact that nature has the ability to withstand the urban lifestyle society has adapt to. Due to this, nature will always keep its place in urban society and this is for the fact that it is not as easy to maintain and its dominance.

This is an image of a man-made structure being put in the middle of a pavement. This shifts visitors’ attention from the surrounding nature towards the water fountain. Besides using parts of nature like rocks and water, what are green plants and almost stationary flowers compared to a shiny, turning, spherical, marble-water-fountain.
Despite the fact that plants and trees are dominantly surrounding the area, the fact that the fountain is placed right in the middle of the otherwise empty path, makes it even more prominent and attractive. Not to mention its unique and striking colours, unlike the overly-green background.
This is evidence showing the fact that despite the dominance of nature, its attraction towards mankind and in urban society is just not as strong and effective. People do not see nature with much affection anymore. In urban society, nature is another passing thing and something normal and occurring all the time.
