Hello Nature
Nature, nature, you sure are amazing,
Working your wonders which seem so confusing.
However I can never understand your tactics,
Maybe that’s what makes you so majestic
As each prey falls into your hands helplessly,
Submitting to you ever so foolishly,
I can’t help but wonder how,
To the extent I’d like to bow.

Nature, nature, you sure are amazing,
Like your son (sun) ever so blazing
I wonder how you do all this so effortlessly,
Leaving me cracking my brain so deeply
Despite the efforts put in by me,
You slyly blind me with your beauty
If only I could understand you, Nature
It would make my life a complete picture

I wish you were a world I’d visit
Instead of trying to find an exit

Epilogue:
I was actually inspired by the spider web. I personally feel that it is a “wonder” of nature and felt impressed by how it effortlessly traps preys for the spider. It seems to have the power to enable preys to fall into their trap unknowingly and “willingly”, which is something which cannot be explained. I wonder why these insects still fall as prey despite probably being able to see the web. It’s rather amusing to me. It explains how I feel towards nature, where I feel controlled by it, however I can never fully understand it, neither can I underestimate its power.
This poem talks about how I feel that I seem to fail to understand nature no matter how much I try. It also mentions the beauty of nature, and also nature being “majestic” to the extent that I would “bow” to it. I was inspired by poets like William Wordsworth who mentioned the poem “Lines in the Early Spring” that he is unable to understand nature and Samuel Taylor Coleridge who emphasizes on the greatness and beauty of nature in his poem “To Nature”.
