Waterfall
Liquid sunshine tumbling,
collecting in a pool below.
Beautified by the sunlight,
an amazing scene we behold.
Water disappears in a vertical flow
Nature's magic, a wonderful show.
At the edge I rest my knee,
my breath quickens at the beauty that I see.
One of nature's greatest wonders,
Twinkling, sparkling what a sight!
Of all who witness such a scene,
they quickly realise, natures might.

It happens continually all year round
Nature's wonders which abound.
the waterfall, one of nature's gifts,
generously given, such beauty exists.
This picture shows a waterfall flowing from a high point down into a pool below. This picture inspired me to write about the wonder and beauty nature can bring to us. The waterfall represents the beauty and might of nature. The strong, fast flowing water, cascading down from a high point. Landing far below, seemingly unharmed. This is the same belief in romantic poets that we have been studying in class. Romantic poets believed in the power of nature and exalted nature as a higher power. I believe the waterfall is a prime example of the power and magnificence of nature.
